The Building Blocks of Life, 2019

This piece explores the importance of the water cycle, and its slow yet progressive destruction by human contamination. At the top is a slow moving video of clouds, in the middle panel a rushing stream, and at the bottom a vigorous dripping of water into a puddle. As time goes on, each source of water turns into a sickly neon green. This collection of videos was projection mapped onto a tape outline depicting a geometric rock sculpture. This signifies the careful balance with which our water sources teeter upon.
